Week 1: The North Star

Questions to Consider:

1.  What is the book's message about following 'the path'?

2.  Have you ever felt (feel) lost on the path?  How did (will) you find your path?

3.  Why does the book end with "The Beginning" instead of "The End"?

4.  What inspires you on your journey?  Who inspires you?  What are you good at?

  1. (Question 2) Maybe when I went high school, because my parents pushed me into a way that I didn’t want to forward. That time I didn’t know how to move on, and how to keep going my path. Then my teacher have a long conversation with me, and if you doesn’t want to go this way that you can choose what way you liked. So I was go on firmly and know the direction of my path.
(Question 3) Because the meaning of “the beginning” is the boy’s way just started with him direction.

  2. In response to question 1, my belief of the book's message about following "the path" is to not follow THE path. One path maybe good for someone, but that same path may not be as good for you. In the book the child is being lead by a cat through the wilderness and starts to get off track, but the cat comes in and gets him back on track. It is good to have that one person to help you when times are getting hard. Going further in the story the child see's signs telling the child to go all diff rent types of ways but the child ends up in a swamp, where he is desperately lost and the cat was no where to be found. A crow comes in tells the child to imagine where he wants to go and a star appears leading the child out. With that stated your not always going to make the right choices and may get off track sometimes and nobody will be there to help, imagine where you want to go and that will lead you back on your path. You future depends on it. Tying into question number 3 the book end with "The beginning" because the path is just the beginning of a long journey of life.
