Week 5: Going Places

Questions to Consider:

1.  In Going Places, the teacher gives everyone the same kit.  What would it be like if everyone was exactly the same?

2.  Have you ever done something that didn't follow the directions given?  What happened?  How did you feel?

3.  The go-cart in Going Places was an invention by Maya and Rafael.  If you could invent something, what would it be and why?

4.  Going Places is about finding new ways to get to the same destination.  If you could go someplace, where would it be?  Why?

5.  How are you "going places" in your own life?

  1. In response to question number one, If everyone was the same life will be vapid and meaningless. The word originality or anything associated with the word wouldn't exist. Everyone would look the same including the way your hair looks to the way it moves. The way you stand from how tall you are. Your smile, your face, your genetic makeup will be seen every 24 hr. Life would be quite boring.
